It now appears, from the information on roadworks.org, (accessed via the NCC Website) that highway drainage work in Cold Ashby may not now start until 26th November and possibly continue until 7th January - finishing just in time for Gigaclear to begin their disruptive digging!

Gigaclear have an expected completion date of 16th February.

So ... a 'Merry Christmas' and equally 'Joyous New Year' are quite probably in prospect for residents of Cold Ashby as they negotiate holes in, and obstructions to, pavements and roads.

 

All this excavation and so-called 'progress'  - yet still we have no Mains Gas!
