Black Horse owner's appeal dismissed

An appeal against West Northants Council's refusal to allow our village pub, The Black Horse, to be converted to temporary accommodation for refugees was dismissed on February 1st.
Good news for our community and for any potential refugee residents who would be welcome in Cold Ashby but somewhat isolated here as, at present, there is no shop, post office, regular bus service (apart from the 'Shopper Hopper') or, of course, a pub.
